Speeding on Galliard Road
We’re taking urgent action to address speeding on Galliard Road.
In the past year, there have been multiple collisions, including a serious incident in June when a child was injured. A recent survey showed terrifying speeds, with 1000 vehicles a week travelling at speeds between 40 and 100mph!
We’re pushing for more traffic-calming measures, clearer signage, and stronger enforcement — and we’re pleased our suggestion that Galliard Road becomes part of Enfield’s proposed 20mph scheme has been accepted.
We strongly encourage all residents to take part in the consultation and show their support to help make this a reality - reducing speeding and improving safety for everyone who lives in the area.

Yellow Box on the A10
Many residents have told us how hard it is to exit Lee Road onto the A10, especially at peak times.
Congestion on the A10 and tailbacks from the lights can leave drivers across Woodgrange, Chatsworth, Haddon, Dimsdale, and Lathkill effectively trapped.
We’ve spoken to Transport for London, who manage the A10, and asked them to install a yellow box or ‘KEEP CLEAR’ marking on the A10 at the junction to ease congestion. TfL is now reviewing the proposal.
To strengthen our case, we’re gathering signatures in a petition.
Together, we can make this junction much safer and more accessible.
