A10 Petition
The roads in this part of our Jubilee community - including Woodgrange, Chatsworth, Haddon, Dimsdale, and Lathkill - all rely on a single point of access: Lee Road. This means that every journey in or out depends entirely on this one route.
During peak times, heavy traffic on the A10 can create a near-continuous stream of vehicles, making it extremely difficult (and very dangerous) for residents to enter or leave the neighbourhood.
At its worst, the A10 can feel like an unbroken wall of cars, leaving people frustrated and, at times, feeling trapped in their own community.
We’ve asked Transport for London, who manage the A10, to install a yellow box or ‘KEEP CLEAR’ marking at the junction to ease congestion and TfL is now reviewing the proposal.
To strengthen our case, we’ve been going door-to-door speaking with residents and collecting signatures for a petition to demonstrate the depth of concern in our community.
So far, around 200 residents have added their names, and we’re determined to build on that number to show just how strongly local people feel about this issue. If you haven’t yet signed, please do - every signature adds weight to our campaign. We’ll make sure to keep you updated on our progress and the steps we’re taking next.
If you have any further questions please do drop us an email.
Together, we can make this junction much safer and more accessible.
