A10 Yellow box/Keep Clear update
This week we were pleased to welcome Joanne McCartney, our GLA representative for Enfield and Haringey, to see first-hand the dangerous junction where Lee Road meets the A10.
For the more than 800 residents of Jubilee who rely on Lee Road as their only way in and out of the area, this junction is a daily hazard. Whether turning onto the A10 or trying to re-enter Lee Road, the lack of proper traffic controls makes the situation unsafe and stressful.
Joanne has been hugely supportive of our long-running campaign to secure a yellow box / ‘KEEP CLEAR’ marking on the A10 at this point—something we believe would go a long way in reducing congestion and improving safety. She has now pledged to personally raise the matter with the Mayor of London to press for urgent action.
